How are sentences structured in Spanish? Is it like English of not?
Also maybe just a few useful vocab would be nice.

Well, in my opinion, the sentence structuring is somewhat similar to English, or so I think.
Some few useful words or phrases(in my opinion) for basic conversation are: Hola, Adiós, Tú or Usted, Yo, Él, Ella, El, Esto, Esta, ¿Cómo estás?, Estoy bien, etc.(Which all mean in order: Hello, Bye, You(singular), Me or I, He, She, The, This(masculine), This(feminine), How are you?, Im good, etc.)

Vosotros, I guess?

I wouldn't say vosotros is used only in Spain. I also hear it from some adults (like I'm not one now?) around here. But yes, ustedes is much more common, I think.
