What is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?
The South Pacific Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for handling all aspects of our relationships with foreign regions.  We are tasked with the creation and distribution of updates, the authority to negotiate treaties, alliances, and other agreements with foreign regions, as well as handling our Embassy and Consulate applications.

What types of jobs can I do in the Ministry?
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has several areas where people can contribute.  This ranges from helping draft regional updates to representing our region abroad.  You can read about the various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs below.

Deputy Minister
The Deputy Minister is tasked with assisting the Minister of Foreign Affairs with all or certain assigned areas of the Ministry.  Deputies are expected to have a general understanding of how Foreign Affairs in NationStates works.

Ambassador
The Ambassador is the face of the Ministry abroad.  Ambassadors are tasked with managing our Embassies/Consulates abroad as well as reporting back to the Ministry about the happenings in the regions they are assigned to.

Media
The media department inside the Ministry is responsible for writing our regional updates.  Members of the department are expected to stay on top of what is happening in the region.  The department is headed by Editor(s).

How do I sign up?
It is super easy to start out in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  All you have to do is apply by stating the areas in which you are interested in.  The Minister of Foreign Affairs will review your application and contact you with the details of your assignment.


Open positions within the Ministry are subject to change with or without advanced notice.  The Minister of Foreign Affairs will update this thread from time to time listing new openings and changes to existing programs.
