Office of the Chair of the Assembly

The following Legislators are slated to lose Legislatorship should they not vote on the next Assembly legislation/motion

A PM was sent to them to remind them of their obligation as Legislators to participate in voting, as quoted below

Failure to Vote

Greetings,

Our records have stated that you have failed to vote on two or more consecutive Assembly motions/Bills.

In accordance with Article IV, Section 4 of the Charter

Quote: Wrote:4. Continued legislator status requires active membership and good behavior. The Chair will remove legislator status from any person failing to vote in the last two official Assembly votes held on separate days, unless the Chair has granted a leave of absence.

Should you wish to continue maintaining your Legislator status, do remember to vote on the next Bill or Assembly motion put up to vote.
Records are available for viewing here. Should there be any discrepancies in the records, kindly inform the Chair of the Assembly in writing immediately.
I look forward to your active contribution as Legislators to the Assembly.
Thanks

Awe

Office of the Chair of the Assembly
On the Appointment of the Deputy Chair of the Assembly

Having considered all available candidates for the position of Deputy Chair of the Assembly, and having also considered all possible factors and merits, the Chair of the Assembly has decided to appoint Omega to the position of Deputy Chair of the Assembly. Omega shall serve as Deputy Chair at the pleasure of the Chair of the Assembly.

In response to possible concerns that the Chair or the Deputy Chair of the Assembly may become a partisan position, given especially the membership of both the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Assembly in The Island League (TIL) and the Alliance for the Preservation of the Coalition (APC) respectively, the Office of the Chair of the Assembly would like to emphasise that the position of the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Assembly shall remain non-partisan and free of undue influence, while also endeavouring to remain as unbiased as is humanly possible, committed to the service of the Assembly and the people of the South Pacific.

The following PM was sent to them to notify them of removal

Removal of Legislatorship
Greetings,

Our records have stated that you have failed to vote on the previous three Assembly motions/Bills, despite a reminder to do so.

You have been deemed to be unable to uphold the requirements for Legislatorship, and unfortunately shall cease to be a Legislator of the Assembly of the South Pacific, effective immediately

Records are available for viewing here. Should there be any discrepancies in the records, kindly inform the Chair of the Assembly in writing immediately.

Should you wish to contribute Legislators to the Assembly at a later time, you may reapply for Legislatorship.

Thanks
