Half the people here probably wouldn't even be able to identify Indonesia on a map. The West sorta forgets the world's fourth most populated country even exists.

There is also the possibility that many people didn't know you were Indonesian, or they knew but didn't make the connection with you. The latter is what happened in my case. I had heard about the attacks, but I didn't remember that you were Indonesian.
