Scopie's "How to draw 8-bit" show

Hello, and welcome to the first ever episode of "How to draw 8-bit"! This is the first season, "How to draw Mario", as seen on the original Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Famicom in 1985.

Season 1 Episode 1: How to draw Mario and Luigi
To start, first we need a tool. I recommend something like MS Paint, but it doesn't support transparency, so something similar would do, like make8bitart.com which I use. Then, we need to get the palette.

Now, let's draw. Try to follow the design of Mario.
That is Mario standing. Mario walking has 4 frames, of which two are duplicates, the middle one.
Here is also Mario jumping.

Now try to follow the design of Luigi.
That is Luigi standing. Luigi walking has 4 frames, of which two are duplicates, the middle one.
