Visiting the Former Downtown South Pacific
#1

I decided it was time to visit the site of the former Downtown South Pacific, and took some photos. :-/

Here is a section of what was the Lampshade Bar:

This was the Vice Delegate's Office:

This was the elevator to the underground Cabinet Office:

This is Downtown South Pacific now:

I tried to get to the Cabinet Office, but you obviously can see that the access was blocked. It really has fallen apart. Sad

How... sad. It's strange, I only joined the forums after the move, yet somehow, this place I have never been still feels like a broken, forgotten home.

The IPB forum was a really cool place, and even if during its last days it was somehow dysfunctional, it never stopped being our regional home.

I have found this awesome snapshot from the IPB forum back in June 2013: http://archive.today/Rqdmi

It shows Southern Bellz listed as Delegate, Hileville masked as Admin, McMasterdonia as a NSA General, and myself and Sandaoguo masked as citizens!

Wow, that screen shot looks so different then the layout of the forums at the time of the move, yet it still brings back memories...

The forum was pretty cool. The good memories definitely outweigh the bad ones.
