Permanent Justice Appointment |
To clarify a bit — and someone can correct me if I'm wrong — but the situation between Raven and Unibot went well beyond TSP and (more importantly) well beyond these forums.
I can attest that the Cabinet Office was quite contentious at the time. I don't remember the instance Raven mentioned, but I think it's important to note that there's always a question of how to deal with things that involve people on these forums, but actions not on these forums. I suspect this is key to this disagreement; where exactly a lot of this took place.

I'm calling for a disapproval vote. Not because he isn't qualified or has a possible CoI, but because of the way the charter makes this process work. I feel there should always be a vote for justice, not just if "we REALLLLLY don't want the nominee". If/when this vote happens, I'll (most likely- barring any shocking revelations ) vote for him though

Griff, there already was such a vote on wednesday, which got canceled due to a few reasons (one being a protocolaric mishap). Once things are sorted out we can see if we proceed with it as planned.

I beg your pardon, but does this "Permanent Justice of the South Pacific" actually hold any say in the every day life of South Pacifician nations? I surely would wish to play my benevolent dictator act to the fullest.
Nah, no government official has any say in how you make decisions about your nation.
