Gianluca felt awkward in his costume, because there were no new guests yet, and for real now: Would you take a person serious, who is standing 10 minutes or more at an entry in a hilarious costume, doing nothing?
I guess not.

However, out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Yena walking through the hall in his direction.
In the moment, she was near Gianluca, he stammered a relative quite "H-hello, Yena. Uhm...nice to meet you. Merry Christmas! Uhm....How are you?"

Yena had to suppress a laugh as she saw Gianluca stammering out his greeting, whilst still dressed in his Christmas costume.

"A Merry Christmas to you too, and I'm fine, Gianluca, thanks," she managed, "but what are you doing standing by the door looking like you're auditioning for a Rudolph musical?" She took a sip of her mulled wine and added, "It's a pleasure to see you here anyway. "

She had convinced herself that this is just for festivities, and was certain that this was just for fun, despite what some people had told her. She wore red shirt with a long yellow skirt. Of course sporting a yellow headscarf.

This time though, she brought some friends with her, friends from another world.

A man with a white mask, black shirt and black pants carrying a sword, holding the hands of a blonde woman with green eyes wearing a white dress and a blue necklace.

"Commander, Ms Amelia, shall we visit our friends."

"It has been quite awhile." responded Alpha.

"We have made such an exit, maybe it's alright to visit them once more time?" asked Amelia.

They entered the room, and as the door opened the cold air gave them such a presence, as if something legendary had just entered the room.

"Greetings All, it is a pleasure to meet you once more." Proclaimed the two from a legendary nation known as Hammerstar.

There, they saw many people, but the Peony broke to laughter when she saw Gianluca.

"In the name of Allah, what on earth are you wearing?" Laughed The Peony.

Gianluca wanted to answer the Ura'sia as the Peony behind him bursted into laughter.
Now, he definitely wanted to curl up and die.

"Well, you know..."

"No, you can't put it off now. Wait until you can get into the bathroom.

"It's.....I don't know. Gordon's unicorn thought, it suits me, I guess".
Now he had to chuckle a bit too. A unicorn? Seriously? I mean, yeah, Gordon had a unicorn, but couldn't you make up something more trustworthy for the Peony and the Ura'sia, who didn't see the unicorn?

The Peony then fitted a Peony flower on her head once more, whilst she fitted those up, she introduced Yena and Gianluca to her two friends.

"May I prefer to my friends, Commander Aaron Kane."

"Ex-Commander Aaron Kane, I am retired. Your excellencies." Bowed Alpha, his mask covered his face, only his eyes gave a clue on his age, idealistic and young for someone who chooses retirement.

"and Saintly Queen Amelia Francesca Elena, was, High Paladin of Hammerstar and the last Queen of the Technocracy."

"I have met with the others, but never you two. It is a pleasure to be a head of state once more, my sincerest greetings."

We were one of the leading powers in the region, but of course, sometimes the ending is just unknown to all."

Amelia inspected Gianluca.

"You reminded me of King Jose, the Ryccian bord lord that caused such a stir, as if a meal can't be ruined enough. However, you possess a different aura, something more mature. Enough about such politics, may you entertain this humble visitor, young man, of your identities and the land entrusted to you by your honorable people?"

"Well my name is Gianluca and I'm the Leader of GI-Land and King of Atlantis - short Leader or Leader and King or President. Whatever you prefer. I'm young, that's right, only 17, but my people entrusted me with leading the nation.
And now: Look where it got me! I can finally be a reindeer at an official TSP Christmas party!"
The last paragraph he said in a sarcastical tone, just to be sure, that everyone gets the joke.

"Must've been a blessing for you, isn't it?" responded The Peony, as she continued to laugh.

Amelia then bowed deeply to the young King who dressed like a harlequin.

"Indeed, a pleasure to meet you. I am not surprised by your age, we have an eight year old that has a professorate degree and is now a leading surgeon, the Holy Queen of Hammerstar, Altria Pendragon, unified our entire kingdom, spurred the motivation of the countrymen, and banished those who thought that they can corrupt the magnificence of the Technocracy, doing all that just before her 15th birthday, 3 years after her coronation. Of course, I sincerely believe that you could support the people's aspirations and become a wise leader despite your... Inexperience."

Amelia was indeed an experienced ruler of such a great nation, Though she's still in her 30's, no one can match her superiority and her rule when she was the High Paladin of the Technocracy. Her charming and alluring face along with her sharp and cunning intelligence was quite overwhelming for the 17 year old ruler. Nevertheless, Amelia saw that boy as her equal.

"Oh dear, I'm afraid I have been quite rude. This is my courtier, knight and husband, Alpha."

"It is a pleasure to meet you honorable King, I hope my mask does not intimidate you, I hear that masquerade attires are allowed. The Technocracy is prepared to acquaint with friends of The Peony, and rest assured, I am your ally. Now milord, do you do combat?"

"I had heard of you, during our relations with the Technocracy, but it is a pleasure to finally meet you in person," she said. "You mentioned retirement? What have you been doing since leaving the service of your country?"
