![[Image: Coco_Award_Logo.png]](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/237708538082885642/274980797285531648/Coco_Award_Logo.png){kind=logo} 2017 Yes, as the sun dips below the horizon of the great South Pacific Ocean, and the stars come out to fill the sky, we’re lighting up the tiki torches and rolling the red carpet right across the beach to welcome one and all to the first ever (but hopefully annual) South Pacific Coconut Awards - a week-long night to honour the best, the greatest, the most wonderful, the profoundly silliest nations of the South Pacific over the last twelve months. We have a whole host of exciting categories, including the possibility of write-in categories, and, better yet, with the exception of a few special ‘pick’ awards, the winners will be chosen by you. Yes, you! Really, we mean you!
So, without further ado, let’s head over to the different category threads now, where you can start nominating who you want to win. Nominations will run for a week, each player can only nominate one other player per award category and every nomination will count as a vote towards that player. Self-nomination will not be allowed. The players with the most votes for each category will be declared the winner and will receive a soon-to-be-coveted Coco statuette to put in their signature, or wherever, really. If you win it, then it’ll be yours. We won’t ask too many questions. Well, what are you waiting for? Go make your nominations!
