tense negotiations, A new Continent (OOC thread)
#1

For all ooc comments and suggestions in the negotiations thread.
Also, while the Pax Draconian dreadnought will still be able to reach the island in one piece, do note that it will be harassed as it is a military vessel. Under normal circumstances a dreadnought would be sunk, but that wouldn't be fun. Tounge

Safe passage guaranteed, though with frequent needling.

Thought I would make it clear that dreadnoughts for Pax Dracon are basically over-sized modern day destroyers/battleships.

I kind of assumed so, although I hope you've taken into account that you're going to have speed and maneuverability issues.

Definitely. This is a ship of the line, not some warcruiser. Why do you think carrier strike groups always have escorts IRL? Going alone into battle is suicide, to put it politely.

Seraph the Frost ship is an unarmed diplomatic ship.

FYI, if the negotiations go south, I swear I'll invade. Frost, please, reconsider your militaristic position.

Like they say in my island: "En guerra avisada no muere gente" (In a war that was warned people don't die)

That's what happens when I read things weeks ago and then only skim before replying. :S Sorry. *goes to fix*.

Anything can happen with the negotiations, so I can't guarantee if they'll succeed or go south. Also I don't recommend trying to invade a heavily fortified island chain, especially when most of the invasion corridors are mined and crawling with diesel electric stealth attack subs.

I question this:

First, what is the population of the IFF overall?

Second, how many soldiers and ships are stationed in the Senran Islands?

Third, how many settlers do they have?
