Survey: Cabinet Pre-Election - June 2017
#1

With Cabinet elections right around the corner I've begun a new pre-election survey.

In an attempt to minimize the biases of the survey the polling will be conducted in two stages. The first stage is designed to determine popular candidate options, while the second will the second will rate the most popular options from the first survey.

Final results will be collected and released before the start of Cabinet Elections on June 1st. All results are anonymous.

Part 1 of the Survey can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQ...g/viewform

Part 2 has now been released. The top four (including ties) for each position in the first part have advanced to the second part of this poll. Names have been ordered alphabetically rather than by "score" in an attempt to control bias. This part will remain open for 3-5 days.

Survey results have now been released. The compiled report can be found here:

Additional data from any section of the survey is available for public release upon request. However individual responses and comments will be kept private for anonymity purposes. I wish good luck to all candidates in the upcoming election, whether they were in this survey or not.

I cannot believe my average in that survey is a 2.

Is the average out of 4 or 5?  I think these results are interesting and inspire some thoughts. Mostly, I do think it would be nice to do these more often.  Possibly as part of a Communications or Journalism Ministry that splits from the RA.

Also such a pleasure to see Spenty up high on there <3

Interesting results. I'm not sure what's going to happen if any incumbents -- but particularly for Prime Minister and Minister of Military Affairs -- don't run, given that many of their alternatives either can't run or have said they aren't running. I guess we may find out. Tounge

I tended to give low scores to people with obvious conflicts of influence Yuno, and it sounds like others did.
