A supposed Ancient greek myth on where the god of the sea, Poseidon (Neptune for Romans as they basically shared cultures, but rename it to make them feel special) would oversee the aquatic creatures and the humans who live in and nearby the oceans (Which covered about more than two thirds of the World). It reputed to be advanced for its time as a retreat for the Immortals and their half-Human, half-Aquatic servants (Who apparently have a little more relevancy to Gods than humans) like 21st Century styled democracy (Nordic grade), eternal fire (Achievable today if you somehow make titanium sspontaneously combust) and the ban of slavery for the favour of paid servitude just to name a few.

But then it sank for some reason. Some guys said humanity was not worthy of the technologies the Atlanteans cause of their sins, so they placed a huge oxygen dome and sank it. Another conspiracyis really hard to explain but I will try. In one period of Ancient history, after seeing the horrors the gods have done, they believed it would be best for humaity to charter its own path and destroyed any traces of them which could prove to the people they once worshipped that the gods saw humans as a game of the Sims, including Atlantis. Now its just another list of cospiracies questioning if there was a god(or gods) & were they benevolent or tyrannical. Personally I do not care about whether it exists or not.

Another version was that it was the intellectual capital of the ancient world situated on a concrete island propelled over the sea with very long stilts and then sunk because of either some huge arguement of intellectual leadership and some klutz destroyed the stilts or the gods felt that these intellectuals would overthrow them aand sunk them to delay the eventual age where people do not fervently believe in god.

Who do you think will win the Singaporean elections? Thoughts on Lee Kwan Yew

Singaporean elections are a big joke. It isn't pure Nordic democracy, granted, but it aint even real democracy at all. I mean tomorrow we will have a female minority president... only because she is the only eligible candidate. It seems entirely unfair that way, more so that the "highest office in the land" is seen as second to the Prime Minister (Who is supposed to be the official VP). Don't get me started on Parliament: being rule by a party since 1959 sounds too fishy to be called a functioning democracy.

One day I want to become rich, get a massive loyal following, make my own party of PAP defectors and independent Law degree experts from different walks of life, win the general elections and the Presidential elections with me President and brother PM & then dramatically reform the Constitution to increase Political, Civil freedoms, the right to self defence, gun ownership with purchase only from a government building and registration, reform the leadership to divert power to the Presidency, the release of government grip on the media and freedom of speech, solve Singapore's secret hidden deficit (We actually spend more money than we make, but we invest our debts and churn out new investment money fast enough for no one to notice), cure Singaporeans from blindly following authority, agressively stamp out bullies and relieve stress from the Singaporean school system, allow a permanent concrete pasar malam to be erected in Geylang Serai (Malay enclave) complete with old Singaprean wonder attractions, increase water self sufficiency, increase Singapore's military might and checkbook diplomacy power, relax restrictions on alcohol but increase penalties on acts under its influence, legalize chewing gum and rise punishments for litterbugs& to top it all off, legalize LGBT and weed if that is what the people want.

Back to the topic of elections, its strange that the only eligible candidate was parliament speaker representing the same ruling part since 1959… clear and pristine democracy yeah right. As if that was fair. I mean it when I say when the election is as ficticious as a 3 dollar bill

Oh and LKY is one heck of a benevolent dictator. Only a guy like him could turn a resourceless island surrounded by resource giants and then suddenly transform into a tech fuelled economic superpower But I wish for his family and his party to slowly dissolve to history for the sake of Singapore and to assert its rightful place as one of the select few Asian nations to be a full fledged member of the free world (Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Phillipines before Duterte)

Is Halimah Yacob, according to the population (i.e: your opinion and others you know) a good presidential candidate?

Hmm.... Yeah I guess. If she had an opponent I think she would have won anyway. Her politcal career shot up faster than Pallaith's shot to TNP delegacy (Very new unlike all other TNP governmet topdogs). 3 years go I'd doubt she'd make it but now, she is fitting to be president.

But I am still suspicious. She used to be the parliament speaker, representing the PAP who ruled since 1959, there were two other candidates from the private sector who were Malay, but didn't the requirement of that person's company having a net worth of half a billion SGD, which might be another way the PA is making elections harder. Plus no one else in the Malay community tried to ran. Ordinarily I would have pictured prominent Malay political and businees figures like Halimah Yacob to run. I mean it seems the perfect opportunity for one of the least politically represented minority to have its voice.p

While I would have praised her if she ran with an opponent, in this case she is the only candidate, which makes Singapore's first female head of state seem like a hollow victory for feminists and minorities in Singapore. I do not know if Singapore is a true elected dictatorship or not. I want to overthow them evenly through the elections and investigate myself. If I do so, I will only use the vast powers of government once too fid the PAP's true intentions and sale down direct government control on myy cuntrymen's lives. If I can't, I'd back someone who would
