Decisions 2018
#1

It's about that time to create a thread for 2018 elections around the world.

Previous thread: Decisions 2017

The 2018 midterm elections in the United States will be occurring on 6 November and the most powerful person in the House of Representatives is vulnerable in his own district. However, Democrats are going to have their hands full in the Senate elections as they have to defend 23 seats and two independents who caucus with the Democrats whereas the Republicans will only be defending eight seats. There will be many gubernatorial elections as Democrats will be defending eight seats and Republicans will be defending 24 of their own. My governor, Jerry Brown, will be term limited in California.

US Senator Orrin Hatch (Republican) will retire, leaving a path for former Governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, a leading figure of the anti-Trump movement within the Republican Party, to become a member of the US Senate.
