Ambassador Lounge : For Distributing News
#1

Ambassador News Distribution Lounge
Welcome to the Ambassador Lounge, where we'll be distributing news updates for our Ambassadors to deliver abroad! While the primary communication will remain over Discord, as it's quicker and more streamlined, this thread will serve as both a public record and a supplementary distribution center for that news.

Also, if you haven't yet, come join the TSP FA Discord Server at https://discord.gg/4GASBdY !

First Update for Immediate Release:

"We've got our first bit of news to push! Dial up those embassies, and tell them about our two new treaties! Info about them are here: http://tspforums.xyz/thread-5282-post-16...#pid161714

Remember: The point here isn't just to throw that statement there verbatim — rather, use what you know about your assigned region and present it to them in a way that suits them best, and then try to engage them by encouraging them to ask questions about our wonderful region."

Once you've distributed your update, check in about that either here or in Discord. Once we've got the flow going more, we'll be having an Ambassador Tracker where we document check-ins in an easy manner!

For Immediate Release:

As always, ambassadors, edit this as much or as little as you think would suit your embassies.

The South Pacific is thrilled to announce our signing of The January Accords, a multilateral treaty with the governments of The East Pacific and The Rejected Realms.

With both regions holding similar values and global perceptions as ourselves, we're very excited to forge forward in this new partnership. While a treaty with The Rejected Realms is already on TSP's books, the idea of a multilateral treaty came up during talks and ended up being widely supported by all sides of the negotiation.

This treaty signifies another step in The South Pacific's foreign affairs direction towards meaningful alliances grounded in mutual respect and interests, and we hope that will only lead to prosperity for all involved signatories.

The South Pacific is thrilled to announce the recent passage and signing of The Treaty of Capricorn, a bilateral non-aggression and mutual defense pact between the Coalition of the South Pacific and the New Pacific Order.
Despite different styles of governance, both regions are feeders facing similar challenges and sharing many views. Indeed, the two regions have been historically close, and have become so once more, with several shared cultural events, joint military operations, and other avenues of cooperation. This document, written over the span of several months, only formalizes what is already a wonderful relationship between our two communities.

This treaty continues to  bolster The South Pacific’s foreign affairs direction towards meaningful alliances grounded in mutual respect and interests. We have no doubt that this now-formalized relationship will be of great prosperity for both TSP and the NPO.
