Moderation Notices
#1

The following Assembly moderation rule is now in place:

1. Threads in the Voting Chamber are to be for voting only. Off-topic threads and posts are banned.

2. All voting should be conducted through the provided poll. If you are unable to use the poll, posts indicating a vote of "Aye", "Nay", or "Abstain" are permitted. Do not vote in both. Should an individual vote twice, poll votes will override posts.

3. Posts or threads consisting of or containing discussion will be subject to moderator action. Offending posts or threads will be edited and/or deleted. First offences will consist of a warning. Subsequent offences will be subject to further penalties including but not limited to the suspension of Voting Chamber posting rights, as permitted by Forum Rules.
#2

In order to address current Assembly habits and to encourage productive Assembly debate, I am implementing new Assembly subforum policies. The purpose of this policy is to discourage short and often useless comments, in favour of promoting longer and more detailed discussion. This policy is on a trial run for the next week or two; at which point it will be revised, cancelled or put into full effect. Due to the nature of this policy it will not be rigidly moderated and there is some leniency, though it will be enforced.

---

1. All posts in the Assembly subforum must be at least one complete sentence in length. Images and links are not prohibited, but should not be the sole contents of a post. Procedural posts (e.g. "Motion to vote") are exempted from this requirement.

2. Seconded motions are not to recieve additional seconds, excluding those deemed accidental or otherwise required by the motion.

3. Posts may be exempted from the rules listed in this policy if deemed appropriate by the Chair

4. Repeated violations of this policy, in word or in spirit, may be subjected to moderation penalties at the discretion of the Chair.
