Gauging Interest: Financial Crash
#1

On discord I was talking with some people and I had an idea: Financial Meltdown. Not like just some FSoO incident, full regional incident. It will give us the opportunity to resolve 2 problems I see:

1. Lack of activity: a crash would require governments to change policy, help others and may even lead to no-confidence votes and elections and in an extreme case war. It is an opportunity to jump-start activity which we need in RP right now

2. Start the WF: we have a great charter but we haven't done anything with it! If we plan this out in such a way that countries that aren't hit as bad will coordinate a WF response we can set it up and build a tradition of it actually doing stuff!

If you are interested post below with comments or feedback and if enough nations want to participate we can look into planning this.

Not a bad idea, although I believe that the lack of activity in the TSP rp isn't due to desinterest or missing tragical events (at least not the main reason), but (also) because of lack of time for some people.

I'm excited how others see your idea and if that can really trigger our rp-community to be more active again or if just some variables, we can't change, are the main reason for the most formerly active users to currently not participate in rps anymore.

Ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

My apologies, but I cannot accept this. Ryccia is recovering, and a financial crisis will make things worse. Civil war anyone?

What you need is another Ryccia and another Sporaltryus.

Yeah, this would be fun. I haven't had a chance to get really involved in any of the gameplay yet. It would be the perfect chance to reintroduce my country after another short period of isolation. Ausstan is a largely independent country, so it could help other countries more heavily hit by the crisis.

EDIT:I know this is a bit of an old thread, but it would still be pretty good to do.
