What was the rate of WA nation in TSP during your tenure as WA Delegate ?
Did you encouraged nation to join WA ?
What measures will you take to increase the usage of WA throughout TSP ?

I'm going to take these in order.

1) I couldn't tell you.

2) During my first term at delegate, I attempted to increase WA membership by promoting new WA members on the WFE. And of course, though the typical mass TG.

3) As I mentioned in other threads, I think some of the ideas like the WASP program would be great to implement, although, I wouldn't want to steal other people's thunder.

And a slightly tangential note, while I appreciate that the WA and its endorsements are a key function of the game dynamics, the delegate is more than a glorified World Assembly cheerleader. Further, everyone is acting as though the delegate can single handedly raise WA membership and that's simply note the case, as there are several different factors at play.

Just asking, but how come you are grilling Midand, then giving easy questions to the older/bigger nations? I get that there is newcomer bias.

How do you envision the next 6 months to look like under your term?

How will you interact or work with:
a) The Cabinet
b) The Assembly
c) The game side\RMBers

The delegate position has shifted from being executive head to a security\guardian role. What experiences do you have that show your fit for this type of role?

Thanks for the question Escade. To go in order —

a) I imagine my interactions with the Cabinet will be much like they've been in the past. Informal adviser and someone who directs newbie nations toward the appropriate people. As always, I'd be willing to help out where asked to.

b) Recently, I've been largely staying away from the Assembly and I imagine that would continue over the next six months. Certainly, I would stay active enough to maintain my legislator status, but I don't see pushing much of a legislative agenda (unless something comes up that I think needs to be dealt it — see the previous election cycle legislation as an example).

c) I imagine I would be more active with regard to the RMB and would certainly be around to moderate and the like. I certainly see the role as delegate as more in the way of leading the RMB and/or making sure it's not overrun with spam and the like.

To the question about security — I've also long been a member of the CRS and think I can hold down the fort in that regard. Beyond thatI think my record is clear with regard to endorsements and tarding. I've worked to maintain my endorsements and even through DM's term I've made sure to keep them up in order to keep influence. I may not be 100% in this, but I believe I've maintained the first or second highest endorsements in the regions throughout both Feir's and Hile's time as delegate, which means I've been keeping my endorsements up for ... severals years at this point. I don't plan on letting that drop now Smile

Since we don't have a designated place for concession speeches, I thought I'd post here.

A full congratulation to Seraph, who I'm sure if going to make a wonderful delegate. I'm happy to lose to a worthy opponent and his campaign and work in the region is beyond reproach. Congrats!

I also want to take the time to thank everyone who supported me this election — and during my previous terms as delegate. It all means more than I can express.

I'd also like to take a moment to thank DM for all his work in the region — both as delegate and prime minister before. While his public life might be ending, he's certain to go down as a great SPer.

Finally, here's hoping we can have a smooth and speedy transition, and that we are all able to make Seraph's delegacy as great as it can be!
