Hello dear citizens of the South Pacific —

It's with a humble heart that I come before you to ask once again for your support for delegate!

I know, I know — you're thinking I'm so yesterday. But, I think we can go back to a time when the earth, the sun, the stars all aligned.

Yes — I'm talking about my delegacy.

It was tsu-per!
It was tsu-pendous, even!
There was so much winning, we all got tired of winning!

Now, I'm sure you're all like, "WTF does guy want? And why is he coming back here?"

And, I hear you.

As always, we have a fantastic slate of candidates running this term. We have the guy how can pepper in pop culture referencesthe guy who thinks endo-tarding is easythe guy who wants to rule the World Assembly and these other guys who are giving new blood to the region.

But here's the thing. I can do pop culture references.

And, I can endotard — I'm currently second in the region.

And, I was in the World Assembly when it was still copyright fringing as the U.N.

And, for the new blood here, let's me explain.

If you make be delegate, I'll sit still, look pretty and make sure the region is safe from harm.
I'll be active on the RMB making sure to squash the trolls and support the noobies.
I'll follow the region's lead with World Assembly votes.
I'll let the Cabinet do their thing and try to help the Local Council.

After a ton of time as delegate, I imagine everyone knows what another tsu delegacy will look like, but ultimately I want us safe, I want us stable and I want us to remain the welcoming party region we've always been.

Happy to take questions folks, but what do you say?

Say you love me again?

What avenues will you take to intensify your tarting levels from previous terms, should you win?

That is a very good question, Dave.

In the problem isn't exactly with the delegate not endorsing enough, but rather getting the rest of the CRS to endotard, too. Our long stated goal has been to create something in the vein of TNP with much higher endorsement levels — which I've consistently supported.

Previously, I've found keeping on top of endorsements and sending the occasional mass TG works well to amass endorsements. I don't think there's really a need to reinvent the wheel in that regard, but I would be sure to keep up on endorsement swapping and promoting World Assembly membership at large.
What, if any, measures would you take to increase the retention rate of nations to stay in the region as an active member of TSP?
Do you have any fancy talents like a GIF for any occasion or one of those fancy commendations? Tounge
How can you make sure that nations will vote for you even though you have already held multiple long terms as Delegate?

That's a great question, Kang.

I think the key is to be responsive and give people the opportunity to get involved here. As such, things like quicker legislator masking would be great, but also making sure people can find the forums and/or have access to relevant officials. When I was delegate, I would try to respond to anyone would messaged me quickly an direct them in the right directions.

I also try to leverage the soft power of the delegacy to give newcomers space to talk and encourage others to listen.

That's much more informal and patchwork than and overarching process, but I think it's important for the delegate to be responsive and for our other government officials to fill in the gaps.

I mean, I can't *make sure* people vote for me. But, I can get my message out — here and on the RMB — and hope people see the positives I can still bring to the region.

I also understand that I've been incredibly blessed to have held the delegacy longer than anyone other than Fudge and SB, I believe, so I understand if people want to give others a chance.
Can I expect a sinecure from you this time?
Cam you give a quick list of your achievements as delegate for the newbies like me?

Thanks for asking Fauxia — however, I hesitate to call what I did as delegate most recently as an "achievement," per se. My biggest achievement was keeping the region safe so that our Prime Ministers and Cabinet could do their jobs. That involved actively building my endorsements, moderating/chatting up the RMB and voting in the WA.

Again, I see the delegate role now largely as a figurehead that doesn't do much, but look pretty and (as some people have rightfully brought up in Discord) bring people together when needed.

Outside of that, my first turn at delegate (which was much more like our Prime Minister role, now), I was most invested in renewing foreign relations and, later, I pushed heavily for a bicameral government model to give the RMB-active nations more of a say. (A battle I lost ...)

I was also delegate during our most recent Great Council, where we laid out our current Charter, including the two-step delegate voting and the current Local Council. Although, I can't take credit for most of the that, since I wasn't involved in the drafting ... I just kept the region together during the process and pushed largely to give the RMB-side a bigger say.
