I've reviewed some options:

MyBB (our forum software): MyBB's built-in Calendar can be considered functional at best; it does not show ranges of events well. Its advantage is that it's built into the forum, but that's pretty much it.
Google Calendar: This has all the features you'd want to have. The problem is that this is bound to a user account (either one of us or a fresh Cabinet account) and can't be embedded easily.
30 Boxes: Seemed perfect in terms of features, but I can't even sign up due to an obvious programming bug. Yeah, nope.
Manual: As in, just manually keeping a calendar as a stickied forum post. This is a bit more tedious, but is directly integrated into the forum (and can be copy-pasted almost verbatim to a dispatch)

I'm gravitating towards a Google Calendar. Thoughts?

Google Calendar, definitely. None of the other options have nearly the range of abilities or the clarity that Google does.

So, as someone who tried to start a calendar, I think a lack of awareness can doom it. (Or at least make it a useless time suck.)

Realizing it doesn't have all the capabilities of Google, can I suggest trying the forum calendar first? I'm not sure asking people to utilize another website (in addition to NS, the forums and Discord) is going to help your cause — especially if you need to link your Google account ...

(To explain the logic of the previous question: I think you could get an active group of four people to use a Google calendar. I don't think it'll translate widely.)

I've created a Cabinet Google account. I'm gonna add a few things I know.
