A motion and second have been received on the following amendment to the Charter.

As an amendment to the Charter, this vote requires a three-fifths majority to pass.

The voting period is five (5) days. Voting will end on April 14th 2018 at 16:45 UTC.

Members Emeriti

14. Members who have previously held a seat on the Council on Regional Security will be available for the status of "Member Emeritus."

15. With the approval of the remaining council members, a nation designated as a member emeritus will be allowed to hold endorsements beyond the prescribed endorsement cap and may be given powers during a state of emergency.

16. A member emeritus shall not be considered a formal part of the Council on Regional Security, will have no access to private information and will not have a vote regarding council decisions.

17. At any time the council may vote to remove the status of members emeriti by a simple majority vote.
