Motion of No Confidence
#111

Anyways, we've actually got the cabinet logs up and ministers should be able to release those ASAP only redacting things that could impact our FA relations or otherwise harm confidentiality with allies.

I'd like to impress upon players who want to see the logs to ask for all of them from the areas outlined in earlier posts to get a full picture.

In addition, while going through the logs I realized that our Sunshine Laws need revision.  Every term cabinet ministers should be going through the Discord term logs and redacting confidential information and then sharing on the forums. That way each term is "recorded" in a sense and can be looked at historically. Right now the cabinet barely used the forums at all compared to Discord.  Discord has, in a sense, allowed us to work around the intentions of the Sunshine Laws.

Other thoughts - are there any major regions with their ministries in their main Discord? I imagine it would be complex but doable and perhaps an intriguing idea to pursue.

Escade, my mere involvement as an advisor has nothing to do with the reasons you and Tim are being called out. I didn’t advise you to fight with Nakari, Seraph, and Somy. When your NSGP posts became a problem, we literally had a long conversation about how our words and tone get mischaracterized and we need to be conscious of that.

As an adviser to Tim, I did not make him be inattentive to his responsibilities or break his promises. I certainly didn’t advise him to go nuclear when things didn’t go his way. Nor did I tell him to insult me and belittle me, and generally create a bad environment on the MoFA team.

I genuinely don’t know how you can say I’ve been a problem here. Literally all I have done is advise on foreign policy matters, with that advice usually not listened to. Please stop trying to drag me down with you, just because I didn’t deny Roavin’s statement.

Hm.
Not as bad as I thought.
May I ask why the messages from May 27 thru now are blacked out?

I believe the idea is to give everyone a picture of what happened up to Roavin's motion of no confidence (that's the link Escade posted), and to not be influenced by the discussions since.

I'll look over this... at some point. Might not be this week though.
Did some LC, MoRA, CRS stuff in the past. Do a lot of World Census stuff now.

Thank you for releasing the logs, I appreciate the fact that the cabinet released something and we didn't have to pass a law for it to happen.

I am disappointed by some of the hostility I see in the logs.  I know things can get emotional and it is a little unfair to judge from my ivory tower, but I feel like Somy had to handle a few below the belt critiques and handled them maturely all things considered.

The following logs were authorized by the CRS to be released in relation to this (now-expired) motion of no confidence, per the the-Cabinet's request. It presumably fell through the cracks as the new Cabinet election happened. I'm posting the PDF here for posterity.
