There isn’t anybody that falls under that criteria in our history

In either case, the CRS getting a vague veto power is very susceptible to abuse and would actually be politicized, wouldn’t it? With a law like this, there’s an objective reason— participating in a coup (which does have an objective definition) of an ally.
