[DISCUSSION] Nominations to the Legion of Honor.
#11

Unfortunately, I have yet to write a citation for Kringle. I simply do not know enough of his record to satisfactorily compose a commendation. My direct message to him on Discord and request for information have gone unanswered - I suspect he is otherwise preoccupied with real-life matters. If anyone with more intimate knowledge of the nominee could kindly either compile a list of his accomplishments or write up a commendation themselves, that would be more appreciated.

With regards to USoVietnam, a citation has been written and is available for viewing below.

Please be aware that the following text is not, by any means, the final draft. However, I believe the bare bones to be there and I think we can build on it by adding our own observations as I will have inevitably missed out some notable contributions.

In particular, this sentence troubles me:

Quote:APPRECIATING the member's service as General of the South Pacific Special Forces. Wherein the member displayed proven leadership skills with the successful execution of large operations in Libcord and fashbash operations in Sandcastle;

Could someone (@Roavin?) with knowledge of the SPDF and R/D terminology help expand/correct this citation?

Citation

For conscientious work towards the betterment and advancement of the region.

OBSERVING USoVietnam's relatively short time in The South Pacific, having joined in June 2016;

APPLAUDING that in that time, the member has distinguished themselves through exemplary government civil service;

PRAISING the member's dedication to the Southern World Assembly iNitiative (SWAN), an initiative the member began on their own, and with the aid of the regional government, has significantly improved the standing of The South Pacific in the World Assembly;

APPRECIATING the member's service as General of the South Pacific Special Forces. Wherein the member displayed proven leadership skills with the successful execution of large operations in Libcord and fashbash operations in Sandcastle;

FURTHER APPRECIATING the member's tenure as Minister of Military Affairs and their part in the recruitment of Yuno and Escade;

ADMIRING the member's role in the Legislator Committee where they are entrusted by the region with security tools not ordinarily available;

IMPRESSED that the member has been the sole member of the Committee for a substantial duration of time and continues to oversee the initiation of new members into the Assembly; and

HEREBY awards USoVietnam the Legion of Honour - Service, for his many valuable contributions to the Coalition of The South Pacific and its peoples.

I think these are right. I don’t remember who recruited who but we all contributed a lot while on the same team.

Nods

Is there anything else which I could add to this citation?
