Legislators, Please be advised that the vote to amend Article IV of the Charter and Article 2 of the Regional Officers Act has passed. The final tally is 41 in favour, 4 in opposition, with 5 abstaining, for a total of 50 votes. The vote was passed with 91.1% voting in favour, exceeding the requirement for a three-fifths supermajority of those voting with the exclusion of abstentions.
