I feel like the top tier of the trophy should simply read The Golden Cocos instead of The Cocos March '19
If it's necessary to put when it was awarded, I wouldn't be opposed to adding another tier at the base, so it'd look like: March 2019 (name of award) The Golden Cocos
I don't think getting gamesiders involved should be an issue as long as you manage to hook a few dedicated gamesiders who everyone knows with this idea. If a few people everybody's used to start advertising this you'll probably get your votes. I'd suggest getting vola involved since he's good at semi-advertising with hype rmb-side. I'd also be open to advertising this once it's ready. (also is it ready? are you still working on it or should I start telling people to vote gamside rn?)
