The Karputsk Award is given to the nation who has been most effective at leading liberations.

The award is named after Karputsk, who served as Arch Chancellor and Chief of Defence in the Founderless Regions Alliance (FRA) and has led liberations over a decade of defender history. Karputsk won the Defender of the Year award in 2014 and believes he played a key role in the liberation of the East Pacific this year.
