It has been legal since the 1874 Personal Decency Act recognised it as a form of suicide, which has always been legal under the Constitution. Though the Act was subsequently challenged in 1875, the Supreme Court upheld its constitutionality in the landmark Beranello v. Gardner ruling.

In Karnetvor, physician-assisted suicide is not legal at the federal level, and only two states (Karnetia and Endville) have legalized it.

Legal for those over age 55 or with terminal health problems. Terminally ill youth must have parental consent.

Illegal due to great leaps in medical healthcare being made all the time.

In Bruuma, physician-assisted suicide is legal and regularly practiced for terminally-ill patient.
It is usually accepted by the patients and their relatives, since they believe the soul of the deceased will be better protected in its journey to the Afterlife by the bizzare voodo rites accompaning the procedure. However there are persistent rumors that euthanasia is sometimes forcefully administred to non-terminal patients, mostly old or with serious mental or physical disabilities.

In Puerto Pollo, due to its Catholic background, it is not practiced, altough the legislation is not clear on its legality. Private doctors (technically Public Healthcare contractors) thus may administer it at home at request of the patient or its relatives.

In Sovonor, physician-assisted suicide was made legal by Royal Proclamation 281, issued by Emperor Matteus II in 1913. This was a hugely controversial measure at the time due to the direct legislation of the monarch, legal under his royal prerogative but highly irregular by the evolving standards of constitutional monarchy.

Matteus II issued 281 after the legislature defeated for the seventh time the bill to legalise physician-assisted suicide, despite broad popular support for the measure and the personal pleas of the Chancellor. To date, it remains one of the most controversial, yet lauded, uses of the royal prerogative in modern times.

In GI-Land it's legal with restrictions.

1.) Persons have to be at least 18 years old; 14 if the parents would give permission for it.
2.) The person wanting to get assisted suicide has to be terminally ill AND suffer a lot (e.g. being HIV-positive but not having Aids yet or having a really bad depression maybe means being terminally ill/suffering a lot, but it doesn't mean, you can't carry on with your life with a fitting treatment anymore).
3.) There is no other treatment or cure left, that could help (a.k.a.: If you'd live on, you would only suffer and close your eyes towards the inevitable.)
4.) The person has to decide for him-/herself to get assisted suicide (Has to sign several declarations of consent).
5.) At least three appointments with a doctor have to be made to talk about the decision (no other persons allowed in the room). Furthermore at least one appointment for an examination to really rule out, any other treatments are possible to use to better the situation of the patient.
6.) The person has to kill him-/herself by drinking the mixture prepared by the physician alone (meaning you can still decide to stay alive in the moment, you get the deadly drink).
7.) Assisted suicide may be performed ONLY by a physician after all the steps above. It may not get done in the home of a patient, but only in special houses.
8.) While killing her-/himself, the person must get filmed to rule out, that any other person pushes the patient to kill her-/himself.
9.) Every physician is free to not offer this service.
10.) Organisations offering this service must be non-profit.

In Rebeltopia, assisted suicide is illegal. There have been many attempts to legalize, with the most recently in 2014.
