Problems
#1

Two current problems with the current Cabinet.

1. Elections for the Local Council should have started on the 1st of January.

2. I think there is at least two months worth of Cabinet discussions that should have been sent to the archives by now.

I hope the Cabinet can quickly fix this.

Thank you.

I'll address the second. The Cabinet is preparing a very large de-classification of Cabinet discussions. This should happen very soon.

That does not matter, the Local Council still exists and therefore elections for it's members must still take place.

Punchwood is correct.

Until LC is formally disbanded and replaced by a more effective governmental branch, elections should take place as normal.

Unfortunately neither the Office of the Delegate or the Cabinet have the legal authority to hold a Local Council election. The election act puts the power to run elections in the hands of the forum admins or their appointee. The Local Council election is no different so I have to direct you to the admin team for this.

Oh don't give me that piss. The Delegate has ran all past Local Council elections why suddenly can the Delegate no longer do it? If need be I'll ask the High Court.

Then I recommend you do that.

Because the Delegate really does not have the inherent duty. What happened was the incumbent Delegate was originally also an Administrator, and later on, Forum Administration, as a matter of convenience, appointed the Delegate as Election Commissioner.

Posts outside High Court venues should be taken as those of any other legislator.
I do not participate in the regional server, but I am happy to talk through instant messaging or on the forum.
