Plans for SPSF reform
#1

The opposition:
While I have nothing but respect and occasional frustration with the two other candidates, I doubt that they are capable of initiating the reforms and recruitment drives needed to keep the SPSF successful. Both of them have held positions in various militaries without initiating the reforms that they claim they will now.

Me:
I joined the SPSF, oh, maybe two months ago. Since then, I've been an active participant in it. Ever since QuietDad resigned, I've been trying to fill his shoes by training and advising the only new recruit we have: Corporal Clegg.
I promise reform and recruitment if I am elected to the MoA.

Please leave questions and comments below, because I'm sure I've missed something

Larger recruitment drives, basic training, possibly the creation of a Sergeant position whose job is to train he new recruits, and making it easier for RMBers to participate.

If you mean how can we trust you to make the reforms... well, you've only got my word.

This thread is not about me.

I'll amend my question: How can we trust you with a senior cabinet position after you've been here only 2? months?

Good question.
First, I've been incredibly active, a lot more than Crimson.
Second, in my two months here, I've been quite politically active.
Finally, if Kringle, one of the most senior members of TSP didn't think I would be capable of it, he wouldn't have nominated me.

So essentially business as normal?

I would not say normal, as Crimson did none of these things.
What the SPSF needs right now is to take on some new members, maybe have some internal reform, and then and only then be placed at the disposal of the Assembly.

What goals would you be aiming for that you would hope to achieve in your term as Minister?

Just like we trusted you with a Senior Cabinet position when you had been here for only 2 months.

1. Obviously the SPSF needs more members, but the questions is how do you plan to actually get them. You will find that it is incredibly difficult to get people involved simply by posting ads on the RMB.

2. What kind of internal reform do you have in mind?

3. You are supposed to appoint to more Generals. Do you have anyone in mind? Or do you think having one General is enough as long as they can manage the responsibility?

4. What do you mean that only then it can be placed at the disposal of the Assembly? Do you think it is acceptable that Generals have repeatedly resisted and resented reforms to the SPSF, sometimes aggressively, even in view of their lack of progress?

5. What do you think of the Civil Guard proposal?

Best of luck!
