LegComm: Accepted Change in Article 3 of the Code of Laws
#1

As we all know, a December Raid to a region called The Fandom Alliance happened with the combined forces of The North Pacific, Europeia and The South Pacific. This raid was recibed with negative and positive views, the wrong thing was not TSP raided a region that had a lot of natives, but that it threatened to banject natives. NATIVES. Even TBR, a region that is famous and feared for its raids, does not banish any natives. We looked like an evil raiding organization worse than TBR or TBH, and when I found about this, I was humiliated.

And so for this to never happen again, I propose an amendment:

Quote:Article 3: South Pacific Special Forces

1. The South Pacific Special Forces, herein referred to as the SPSF, is established as the sole Armed Force within the Coalition of the South Pacific.
2. The SPSF will be led by the Minister of the Army and a panel of three Generals, herein referred to as the General Corps, selected by the Assembly and serving a life term.
3. The Minister of the Army will recommend Citizens to serve in the General Corps upon the passage of this document and in the event of a vacancy. The nominee must be approved by the Assembly, which will recommend replacements if the reject a nomination.
4. The General Corps is responsible for the planning of and overseeing of all missions of the SPSF.
5. The SPSF must, at all times, observe our laws, policies, the charter and our legal and contractual obligations, defend The South Pacific, refrain from conduct abroad which contradicts foreign policy and make an effort to include, welcome and accommodate all citizens as members, regardless of their beliefs.
6. The SPSF will be permitted to carry out offensive, defensive, support, and various types of operations as seen fit by the Minister of the Army.
7. The Minister of the Army and General Corps will be responsible for creating further regulations for the SPSF and presenting them to the Assembly for passage in accordance with normal Assembly policy.
8. The SPSF will be responsible for carrying out all operations relating to a Declaration of War passed by the Assembly. A declaration of war is not inherently necessary for the SPSF to act against a foreign entity and/or organization.
9. In the event of a succesful raid, the SPSF is not allowed to banject any natives under any circumstances unless permitted by the Cabinet.

Now, let's look at definitions that this amendment would have for its terms:
1. Succesful Raid: I define a succesful raid as a raid that was fufilled by the SPSF and that cannot be defeated. The Fandom Alliance would have been a case, as it was 20 vs. 7 with no allies on TFA's side.
2. Native: A native could be counted as a person who was lived in a region for at least a month or so.

This will be very well recieved by defenders, but I want it to be well recieved by everyone. That is what I hope.

Thank you for your attention,
Ryccia

I have no interest in having the Assembly dictate how exactly the SPSF should conduct an operation. They are more than capable of doing that themselves.

I am fully against this.

The other plans for the Assembly to check on the SPSF are intrusive enough. This will just end up making the SPSF lean defender.

I do not want the SPSF to lean defender, nor I intended in the past. I just want SPSF to not change its ideology, but we cannot be cruel to the natives, especially in an innocent region like TFA was. Im just saying that SPSF should not ban natives from their homeland, not to lean defender. But imagine if something like that happened to us? I would be devastated. How about you?

Yeah, this will cause a bloodbath in cabinet. You have to know what will happen, surely? I don't care for either side of GP but I won't tell the SPSF how to handle their own operation.

Do you really want TSP to be seen as the "bad guy" in these kinds of operations? That's basically bullying natives, and I don't like that.

I'm fully for this. I'm sure those who are against it would change there minds if an army came to TSP and banejected natives. Because that would be wrong but when it is someone else that ok that's find.
