Appeal to the Assembly

I second the motion.

I just got through this with wolfy. Please do not make me repeat myself. We keep going in circles like this and it is reminiscent of my interactions with PW...

Up to vote, thanks.

So you admit that you don't think there is currently a legitimate threat to TSP and all these citizenship denials have been purely political? Good to know.

In Glen Rhodes's defense, read the rest of his post.

I did, and "pulling stunts" is still not a justifiable reason for denial, and still paranoid because I highly doubt any of the recent applicants who were denied or about to be denied (Dali, Neenee, Todd, and BGP) coordinated this effort and no one has presented any evidence to suggest that they have.

In any case, Glen suggested he doesn't think any of them have any intention to coup and yet still indicates he opposes granting them citizenship. What the hell, man?

I would kindly ask the Representative from Padfoot the Marauder to engage in a good faith discussion with the Representative from Sandaoguo. The Assembly of the South Pacific is a forum for the serious discussion of regional issues, not a floor where citizens attempt to outsmart each other or take their comments out of context.

I implore all representatives to engage in a higher level of discussion, and to ensure that civility and good faith return to the Assembly.

This particular forum is to discuss why a resident of TSP has been denied citizenship and the rights inherent thereafter.

Anyone who attempts to deny a fellow resident of TSP the rights of citizenship while presenting no evidence of wrong doing or imminent threat are nothing short of aspiring tyrants, and deserve the criticism they get.

This is a discussion on the merits of overturning or upholding the denial of citizenship to Dalimbar. What I see the Representative doing is engaging in bad faith discussions and attempting to pick portions of what others comment and take it out of context. I trust the Assembly will know to distinguish between legitimate criticism and the bad faith posting of the Representative from Padfoot the Marauder.

In what way have I engaged in "bad faith"? Is it only "bad faith" because it's not what you want to hear?

I don't think a coup is the only thing we have to worry about. It is actually on the bottom of my list at the moment.
