Update time for A Blank Canvas has shifted to 12:03:18. Thankfully it's a really early updater, so we won't have to worry too much about the time changing. I would suggest a 15-20 second window between when the go is given and when we jump.

We'll be jumping from An Escape. Set up your puppets when you've got time.

This mission was a failure. Not only was RK the only one to show up that said he would, but we were discovered by a defender too, who jumped and endorsed the native. I'm going to use this as a learning opportunity and explain what we did wrong, and how we can avoid it in the future.

First off, three of our puppets were idling in the region. This is not a good idea, as it easily allows defenders to see us coming. A better alternative is to wait in a specified jump region, cross-endorse there, and then move from the jump region to the target region close to update so that defenders don't get a chance to interfere.

About those puppets, only one of them was a new "clean" puppet. Defenders could have easily followed either of the two "dirty" puppets that had been used before. It would have been trivial to spot us.

Out of those three puppets, two of them were actually on IRC around time of update. IRC is the best method of communication we have for in the middle of missions. Please make sure to join us on there if you sign up for a mission.

Operational details such as the target region, the update time, and the nations being used should be known by everyone. The designated timekeeper should know in advance when the target is updating. This helps to keep us organized, and prevents any accidental misinformation.
