RE: Language Discussion - Ryccia - 10-18-2015

Maybe like Hungary or the Gypsies, the Tals migrated long distances into Ryccia?

I really like this idea. It would probably be hard though to find a language that could be related to Sedunnic, given its isolated location with respect to most other RP nations. Anyway, it could have its own branch on the tree.

Remember Greek. Not really sharing its branch with some other language but still originated from an ancient version.

I consider Cathalean to Be Greek.

Also we need better definition to what is what. Where is Cathalean spoken?

RE: Language Discussion - Ryccia - 10-19-2015

Kyrini and Cathalea. Even though Kyrinian is the majority language, a sizeable minority speaks Cathalean.

Language Discussion - ProfessorHenn - 10-19-2015

And vice versa for Cathalea. There is a noticeable Kyrinian minority.

RE: Language Discussion - Ryccia - 10-19-2015

Yeah, sure. So maybe something like Beilltemmic/(Proto-)Sedinnic -> Old Sedunnic -> Sedunnic, possibly with other branches from Beilltemmic.

Yes. Swedish, Polish and French look very different, but they all have similar origin.
