RE: An invitation to discuss security and economic cooperation - Qwert - 10-27-2021

I OOCly motion to vote.

RE: An invitation to discuss security and economic cooperation - GI-Land - 10-27-2021

I second the motion, but would like the current version of the proposal, on what we vote on, be included to the "start of the voting". With all the suggestions made, I'm not sure it is completely clear, on what exactly we are voting on.

RE: An invitation to discuss security and economic cooperation - Qwert - 10-28-2021

I've read through all comments and edited the 13 points. Do we need something more formal, or will it suffice? Perhaps a more formal version can be written later.

1. Mutual self-defence: consider an attack against one member state to be an attack against them all. A member's support to the allies can be solely civilian if the member lacks the military capacity for the intended operations.

2. Every member is encouraged to spend as much as they can to be able to contributing to intelligence gathering, common infrastructure and a military force capable of asserting respective nation's territory's integrity. The members shall spend a minimum of 0.50% of their respective GPD's on their military. Members must have bases so that members to can and resupply at friendly ports.

3. Consensus-based decisions

4. Shared funding of research that strengthens the organisation's abilities and cause

5. Strengthen cooperation between universities

6. Free trade agreement

7. Hosting of nuclear weapons is voluntary. Members shall sign the treaty on the prohibition of nuclear weapons (but ratification is voluntary)

8. No member can use chemical or biological weapons

9. Shared intelligence that is relevant to other members. Members shall not spy on each other.

10. Members must be democracies. They shall adhere to international law, have freedom of speech, have fair elections. A member will be ejected if it no longer is perceived a democracy.

11. Regular meetings of heads of states/governments and/or their representatives to discuss and decide new policies

12. Headquarters: A military headquarters for sharing intelligence and surveillance and to plan joint operations. A headquarters for the coordination of the scientific/universities. A HQ for the free trade arbitration process. These shall be placed permanently in different nations that will be decided later.

13: Apply for observer in the WF

RE: An invitation to discuss security and economic cooperation - Qwert - 01-28-2022

I think we can consider the organisation founded?

RE: An invitation to discuss security and economic cooperation - GI-Land - 01-31-2022

I would propose to officially announce the foundation of the organisation tomorrow (1 February 2022) and thus consider it founded finally. Based on that our heads of states or other important figures might want to comment on this development in the media or in Flash News
