The title says it all. I just want to know and I think I know what ambassadors do in NS:
*Give a monthly report of regional happenings
*Establish good relations with other regions(I think so)
*Represent the region in other regions that are designated to the ambassador
*Other(maybe, if there's more to it, please tell me)

Hi Ryccia!
My predecessor disbanded the Diplomatic Service in favour of another system, and I don't think there is enough manpower to warrant restoring it (we'll see!).
I do have some job openings for an Associate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is a more hands on role than the Ambassadorships given out in the past. This post would involve spending time in your assigned region, getting to know members of their community and government whilst acting as an executive envoy from our Government to theirs.
While being part of their community is important, it is also important to be friendly and approachable to their government, as well as others in their irc channel (where possible).
Being an Associate won't include cabinet access, as it isn't a ministerial post. Depending on the region assigned, you may be working under one of the two Deputy Ministers.
