A tall, skinny, blonde haired man walks into the the bar and finds a seat at a bar table.
"Hello, I'm Gustave Berr. I'm new the South Pacific, but I've heard that this is the place to be," he says, pointing to the bar itself.
"Barkeep, whatever they're having, the next one is on me. And, I'd also like two fingers of your best Bourbon, with two ice cubs... if you'd be so kind," he says with a smile. "Is smoking allowed in here?"

"I do enjoy optional sanity.... that fits right in with my style. I will without my cigarettes until I go outside, if it bothers the rest of you, or it is against bar rules. It's just my little vice...." he says, as he takes a swig of his bourbon, placing a cigarette behind his right ear.

*I meander wildly around the counter, past the several "Employees Only" signs, and into the back room. The sounds of much clashing, barking and general clamor are heard quite clearly. Mere moments later I go flying out of the room, tumbling over the counter and landing in a rather uncomfortable position. A man, apparently some sort of chef stands in the doorway screaming a bizarre mix of Swedish, Phoenician, and Klingon. Seemingly in punctuation, he throws a fish at me, then walks back into the back room*
*Slowly I stand up, still dazed from the experience in the back*
"Ahem, well that was very unusual. I think I understand now why they have employees only signs. In fact the only thing I'm not sure of now is why they have so many hyenas back there..."
