According to multiple international military sources, the VPRB has conducted a new successful ballistic missile test , doubling the range of its threat compared to the previous launch. The missile has flown 2,400 km, landing in the sea a few hundreds km East of Scalten. An official announcement by the Bruuman dictatorship is expected within hours.

The Resentine Foreign Affairs Ministry has offered an alternative to the Ryccian Government, protection under their nuclear defense systems, a currently classified project known as BLACKBRAKE. Hints of BLACKBRAKE's have revealed themselves at some points over the last few years, but no government official confirmed those rumors up to this point. The Foreign Affairs office has stated that more information on BLACKBRAKE will be released soon.
