The Kai Fa Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced that the country will build a new geothermal plant on the slopes of the southern volcano and has consequently opened international bids for certains services and components.
The project is part of a recent plan to reduce pollution in the country, which until now has exploited its large coal deposits to fuel power generation.

Breaking News: There has been a mass shooting in Alton City near Government Buildings. The Government have been evacuated and the Prime Minister was rushed away in a special forces car. It is not yet known who the suspect is or why they opened fire. At least 99 people so far are confirmed to have died, at least 77 confirmed to be injured and taken to hospital. Police are looking for the suspect as we speak. As a result, Prime Minister Barrett sacked the Minister of the Interior and has appointed Falala Nakatomi as the new Minister of Internal Affairs.
