A Gianlucian hospital has diagnosed a first patient with GID-20 today. It's yet to be discovered how that person got in contact with the disease and who else could have gotten infected by them.

The first case of GID-20 in Great Novania has been confirmed in the state of Horizon. The infected person has been put under quarentine, and people he's had contact with are being tested for signs of GID-20.

Thanks to extended efforts since January, recent contingencies with Huwanian testing has revealed the disease to be parasitic in nature. This allows for extremely focused containment procedures as well as standard parasite treatments for those hospitalized.

An Eggrarian trade ship going into Ryccia managed to discover that contamination of fruit products was exceptionally rampant on the cargo of the ship. The parasite can survive cold enough temperatures for by-sea shipping.

Parliamentary Speaker candidate Texeteti' has taken to the streets of Ha'Hani. He was recorded ranting about "The Eggrarian Stomach Flu" being a "figment of imagination" as well as "a GI-Land conspiracy" before collapsing to the ground. Bloodwork at the hospital of Ha'Hani showed that the man was heavily intoxicated, as well as having taken 5 different drugs, 4 of which are illegal in FiHami.
