In the wake of the GID-20 pandemic having cleared the nation, the Government have lifted travel restrictions for people leaving the country but have advised people who got stuck in the country and desire to go home only to travel. Prime Minister Barrett warned that this is not a licence for Qaz nationals to take holidays as they will not be able to get back in. She has appointed Yolanda Goff as Minister of Gadgets.

President Revan Kensei has stated that while he sympathizes with the people of Landland, the Empire can not afford to send aid when it is recovering from the catastrophic civil war. The President has also offered to reopen stalled talks with the Holy free and Anserisa before formal peace negotiations with the WPR and RDC begin with their allies invited in an observer capacity.

Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Erica Sims, has said that the Senate has approved GID-20 sex and relationship education for introduction to schools when the country reopens at the end of September.

The Shadow Leader of Parliament, Seth Salazar, has said the Government ought to learn from this pandemic and past pandemics and prepare for the next one without any doubt.

Prime Minister Barrett has sacked Xanatos Lobachevsky as Minister of Defence due to refusing to increase Military spending in line with the President's and Minister of War's wishes. She has replaced him with Michonne Sulu. New Minister of Defence, Michonne Sulu, has introduced conscription.

An attack against police forces has occured near the stadium of Fabris shortly after the game RIM - Valora has ended.
A terrorist background has not been outruled yet, however the government wants to stress "that everyone will be safe".

There has been a shooting at the APW protest today. Witnesses say the Prariean Military Police fired the shots. 
A lot about the situation is unclear at this time. More information is coming out slowly.

The NRGMM Miséricorde has arrived today in Landland. The hospital ship is working full time to treat the many injured and is working with the medical personnel that arrived a couple of days ago. The Council of Government is meeting tomorrow to assess the situation in Landland.
