Prime Minister Barrett announced today that her decisions for stepping down briefly next year are personal and she's not comfortable sharing them. She has stated that she is just taking a step back to fix these and that the replacement will also look after her constituency as their MP during her absence. She has stated that if she decides to step down completely during those months, she will tell the sitting Prime Minister for them to announce to the nation and inform the nation of the date of the snap election. Al the moment, however, she hopes and aims to return to Office as Prime Minister in January 2022.
Prime Minister Barrett has announced former Deputy Speaker of the Higher Chamber, Tyrone Peterson, will step up to briefly take her place as Modern Marxist Party Leader and Prime Minister of Qaweritoyu in June 2021. Prime Minister Barrett has eased restrictions more than she previously stated she was going to. She emphasised the need to practice distancing, wash hands regularly, sanitise hands regularly and clean surfaces regularly. She has re-opened the borders but has said there are no restrictions currently required to be taken by people coming into the country from outside.
