Foreign Minister Athena Popadomalus summons the Besernian Ambassador to Izaakia to lodge a formal complaint over the detention of Izaakia citizens. A formal statement by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Development reads as follows:
”On Thursday June 3rd 2021 the Besernian Ambassador was summoned to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Development to lodge a formal complaint. The complaint outlined that The United States of Izaakia is not a subordinate state of Besern and Besern therefore has no rights to prosecute or detain Izaakian citizens for actions committed on Izaakian territory and that to do so would be a violation of Izaakian sovereignty. The release of the Flight crew and extradition of the Pilots to Izaakia where they will be subject to Izaakian law was requested as a condition for continued cooperation between Izaakia and Besern.”

When asked about the recent foreign incidents President Revan Kensei calmly responded that the Empire will continue to maintain sanctions against the rogue state, but the dispute between Besern and Izaakia is best left to the Committee of international law and the world court. President Kensei also stated in other news that the referenda for Reizen Province's final status as an integral part of the Frost Empire or Independent State will occur on December 31st of this year to allow campaigners half a years time to campaign under the watchful eyes of the World Forum.

The police director of the Zersbach-Flughafen division of the Besernian Federal Police, Almeric Herrmann made his address today regarding the custody of the flight crew.
"My address to the Izaakians is as follows. We shall accept the release and deportation of the Izaakian flight crew to Izaakia under the terms of the Izaakian conditions if the Izaakian police force can agree to a court hearing and a further court trial in Izaakia under Izaakian law after arrival for possible vehicular manslaughter. This is our sole condition to make sure justice is upheld. The Strategic Territorial Interest Group (STIG) met today to discuss the Besernian proposal and have agreed it’s in Izaakias best strategic interests to accept the terms of the prisoner transfer.

The Izaakian flight crew have been released from the Sudstadtfurt Police Post and deported to Izaakston this morning.
Regarding the aircraft that contained stains of human bodily fluids and material, the aircraft was seized during their custody. Such fluids and material on the aircraft have either been photographed or collected as evidence. The data of the enhanced flight vision system and other cameras have been collected and sent as evidence. These evidence have either shipped with the flight crew or e-mailed from the police director's e-mail to the representative of the Izaakian police force. The plane has been taken under the care of the Zersbach airport administration after they have been deported, who is attempting to find the owner of the aircraft for negotiating return.
Following the conclusion of the Qaz Presidential Election, Christopher Elliott has been elected President of Qaweritoyu, securing 95% of votes. President Elliott has appointed, as required by law following a Presidential Election, Brax Appleton as Vice-President.
Finance minister Charles Boulangerie outlined Izaakias 10 year economic plan, for what has been dubbed the Boulangerie-Blanc Excess Principle. The principle dictates that if a nation invests and focuses on producing huge excesses of its key products, it increases supply and lowers the market price giving the native companies an advantage due to the economics of scale. Through this plan Izaakia plans to evolve into a position of market dominance in the Electronics, Motor Vehicle and Engineering sectors.

Environment Minister Kiko Akiko announces a limit on the use of chemical fertilisers, which is roughly half of the current typical usage on farms in Izaakia and the New Territories. The reason for the reductions is to prevent eutrophication of waterways and the ocean, to prevent mass biodiversity loss in Izaakian waters. (Happy Ocean Day)

King and Leader Gianluca IV has announced, he is thinking about instating a citizen's assembly after the federal elections in September on how to improve the Gianlucian democracy: "Ten years after the incorporation of Atlantis into GI-Land, there is still this feeling, that a part of the population is not content with how our nation runs. We need to get behind the reasons for this and, if needed, need to push for reforms. The citizens themselves shall be our guidance."
