"Tasternine, Transsuniera or now Reizen, I guess any of them could do as a final resting place."
Hip-hop looked at the captain with tired eyes.
"With any luck, our superiors are now discussing a way to end this war."
"If only that were true." Amari said as she looked wistfully at the tables around them. She then stopped and gestured to a table three rows down. "Your comrade has been laid to rest on the table there. We don't know if the RIM managed to loot the body as we recovered him with his uniform and the gear left behind... I'll be here to answer any questions you have about his recovery, and to give you some privacy."

This will be all for now. Thank you, Politburo Leader Kirihito, for listening to our suggestion. We look forward to hear from you soon."
"I'll be sure to return the phone once he's returned from the morgue. I hope we can discuss better news in the future." replied Kirihito. He then ended the call as his aide/bodyguard entered the room.
LATER
Sometime had passed after the call when Kirihito's aide/body guard entered the room.
"Sir, the Bruuman minister would like to talk to you about a new weapons source." said the aide.
Kirihito looked mildly surprised as he asked, "Is the source the one that Aguri's subordinate found?"
"Yes sir, the Valkyrian group Vorsica" the aide replied.
Kirihito shook his head, "If she were serious about procuring foreign arms she should have consulted with the Finance ministry to determine the necessary changes to our budget, but maybe she was hesitant of accepting arms from a capitalist country like Valkyria if they couldn't verify the ideology of the group in question...." he then sighed as he extended his right arm, "Very well, hand me the phone."

"Good morning Comrade Kirihito. I am pleased to report that we have successfully negotiated a deal with the same company that approached you in the previous week. We will settle the bill and the comrades in Kai Fa will receive the shipment and then deliver the goods to you" He paused to make sure that the supply chain order settled in the mind of the WPR leader, so to make clear that this flow of weapon too would be controlled by Bruuma.
"Also we have agreed to a first order as a trial, to test quality and reliability both of the equipment and the supplier, but I'm confident more could follow. We also have made sure that the Empire remain focused on fighting RIM for the time being, as you do too, so that you will not find yourself attacked on two sides. By concentrating on RIM, we believe you will be able to gain control of a wider portion of territory, so to be in a stronger position on the next phase of the conflict, whatever it may be." 'I hope you all see that you have to swallow this pill if you want to have any hope to gain something in the lond end' thought Hunt, refraining from explicitating his considerations to his interlocutor.
"In the spirit of international socialism we are determined to continue and increase our support to your struggle... as long as your dedication and loyalty to the cause remain absolute and unquestionable".
"Good day Comrade Hunt, the Worker's Party of Reizen appreciates the continued patronage of Bruuma and Kai Fa to ensure the survival of the revolutionary spirit of the proletariat. I will be sure to inform Party Secretary Jiyuu of the good news and inform the trail's partisans to expect the Kai Fa shipments." said Kirihito politely, fully cognizant of the Bruuman arrangement.
"The Party hopes that these new arms are reliable enough to continue to repel the RIM who have encircled our territory. I will be sure to inform the Party Partisans to focus on keeping the trail open and to shift their efforts South and East to avoid encountering the Imperialists."
'Should I interpret this message as a subtle approval for the pragmatic shift in tactics' wondered Kirihito as he remembered the previous conversation with Sedunn. Kirihito then sought to reassure his Bruuman counterpart,
"Comrade, the Worker's Party of Reizen's priority is the proletariat sir, and as long as the spirit of international socialism has the proletariat's best interests the Party will never waver in its dedication and loyalty to the cause."
