Meanwhile, as I was saying, I have a proposal: as RIM is becoming even more dangerous and unpredictable, I believe it would be beneficial to coordinate the military efforts of our comrades with yours. A joint offensive could yield far better results than individual ones".
"Is that so... However, i find it hard to believe that the WPR and your allies would subordinate themselves let alone allow themselves to be integrated in the current Frost-Sedunnic Offensive. That being said the WPR's continued cooperation is of course still vital for peaceful post war negotiations, but what's the catch?"
'Just one more push' thought President Kensei as Grand Admiral Kuribayashi finished speaking to the Sedunnic Foreign Minister.
“Well?” Asked the president to the grand admiral,
“Mr. President the Sedunners wish to reorganize their forces in light of unexpected events and in preparation to respond to their promise to their Transsunerian friends.” Responded the grand admiral
“I, see... have you accepted their proposal?”
“No sir, I asked for a little more time to think about. We still don’t know the outcome of the battle for credence airfield, and with the WPR still not integrated I don’t know if our eastern flanks will be secured as the offensive continues.”
“Accept their reorganization request Grand Admiral,”
“But sir, what about the other fronts?"
"We've committed the majority of the navy to defend the home islands from a nuclear attack, but We should be able to spare a fleet to return to Reizen to support the amphibious invasion of Kinjishi. Furthermore, both you and I know it is only a matter of time before the international community demands that we ease the blockade for the countries affected. Do you disagree with my assessment?"
"Mr. President may I speak freely?"
"You may Grand Admiral."
"Thank you Sir, I do not believe that we can send one of our reactivated training fleets or the FSDF Coastguard vessels to the frontlines to support the amphibious invasion. The FSDF fleet is good for defensive blockades sir, not offensive support.
"I see... then we'll have to make do with what we have, but we can ill afford to let the RIM get away with their foreign misadventures in Fi Hami, Ela and now Transsuneria. So please Grand Admiral accept their reorganization request."
"I understand sir. I'll inform the General Staff later of your decision to accept the Sedunnic Plan. Oh and Mr. President, when you inform our Sedunnic Counterparts could you ask that they dispatch an officer, at or above the rank of Commodore or Brigadier general, to serve as an attache to the General Staff office so that We can quickly coordinate strategies."
"I understand I'll see what I can do."
