They once spoke separate languages but after centuries of being forced to work together, the languages - of the Sea Elves, who came here looking for peace; the octopus-like Lamagi; the Aarakocra, whose wings were cut off at birth to prevent them escaping; and the Dwarves, who were native to these mountains - became one.

They spend their whole life mining in these mountains for ores and metals for the humans, but they sing songs - together - to remember life before they were enslaved in the war, and about the freedom that they once had and hope they will have again one day.
