You have to play at least Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past (yes, some say that the games that followed are superior, but I haven't played them, so...) even if you're broke like me and have to do so on emulator. Those are two of the best things I've played, ever.
About Twilight Princess, I have a funny story about that. The Wii is the first console I had, way back in 2007 (the first one got damaged after two years, but we got a replacement, which is still in my home way over in Margarita Island). I was at the time, like most kids, stupid. As such, I missed on a lot of games in that generation; I have never played Super Mario Galaxy, for example. I only became a "smart" gamer on 2011-2013, and I tried to catch up. I saw that game, Zelda Twilight Princess, in a store at the mall, at a really cheap price, as the game was already a bit old at that time. It was October, I think, and said to myself "nah, I'll just get it on Christmas". That was on 2014, and of course the game disappeared from the store, and the economy went to hell. I regret that decision to this day.
