Ohai, fellow South Pacificans!

Well, the past few months have been interesting. I came into a second term of MoFA, highly ambitious and motivated to do some cool projects. A few other things happened (including NS site admins beginning an investigation into possible script violations by myself and some others), and I realized ... I can't do this right now. I want to take a break. No, I need to take a break. I didn't know then, and still don't, how that break will manifest itself - full retirement? Just hanging around? Something inbetween? The answer eludes me as well, but that I need to step away from some things was very apparent. I left a crapton of Discord servers. I had forgotten how fast Discord can be if it's not loading a bazillion NS servers I'm idling in. I rejoined a small few recently, but may leave a few again at some point as well.

TSP has been a wild ride for the past 6 years and I sincerely mean it when I say that this community has had a part in making me be a better person. I'll be 35 next month, and a citizen of the internet for over 2 decades. NS and TSP have beaten the runner up in terms of longevity of my participation in an online community by years at this point, and not without reason. I'm stepping back knowing that TSP is in a much better place than it has ever been in any of those past 6 years (despite the hilarity of the current Cabinet term), and there are good players (and good people) here to continue.

There are a few things I should resign from, things I probably should have resigned from earlier. So, I hereby resign from my IC positions: the Court, the Legislator Committee, SPSF General, SPSF member, and as Legislator.

I'll stick around in some capacity until at least the NS admin investigation is done. What I'll do after ... who knows? Maybe I'll yeet out of here completely, never to be seen again. Maybe I'll run for Cabinet in October. Maybe I'll go raider! .... okay, not that last one. Either way, if somebody breaks/coups TSP, give me a call.

Last but not least, some advice: Honestly, y'all should listen to Glen more. In 99% of cases he's right ... unless it's about TGW or Libcord, for some reason, but for anything else, listen to the man. Say !glen in Discord. And if even Bel agrees with Glen, and you don't, then you should think reeeeeeeeal hard about your own position.
