Why is RP under the MoC?

There have been efforts to involve ourselves as Hammer pointed out for the FWC.
I could also bring up the 2020 Roleplay awards, that we needed to actively reinvent, because the MoC itself didn't seem to be interested in hosting those - as they originally used to. I was referred to the MoC for support still (like for fancy graphics or the simple announcement of the winners of the awards), but in the end we needed to do everything by ourselves (except for writing the MoC's and Delegate's signatures to put on our certificates) and the announcement of the winners happened through the Treasure Island Report.
Talking of which: I was part of the MoE by being the editor of the Treasure Island Report, which has not received the needed/deserved attention though and thus was buried as a project. It also didn't receive much or any support from gameside, neither in terms of advertisment nor politically. Quite the contrary, the MoE back then was relieved, I was taking care of what was already seen as a dead horse from the get go from him.

Now, were our efforts enough? Was there a chance, we could be in a better position now, if we nagged the MoC more than we did?
Should we have gotten involved in TSP-politics sooner than now (since up until now Qwert was mostly our channel towards TSP politics. Maverick/Stoic and I have only recently decided to try to involve ourselves more)?
All that could be, we are trying to do it now and trying to raise our points. Maverick or also Qwert, Pronoun and I, when we talk about the forum transition e.g., have brought up simple, small, but potentially very effective proposals on how TSPRP should be treated and advertised over on NS or the general Discord server.

What we would now hope for, and which is maybe the reason why Hammer is a bit agitated currently (not meant as harsh as it might read), is that we simply want you from "the other side" of our community to understand and accept our concerns and either accept our proposals or suggest other ideas, a compromise, if you so will.
What we currently get though is something, that at least reads, as if we'd exaggerate our situation and importance in this community.
To be frank, I find that a tiny bit offending, because I was always feeling welcomed here on TSP and would've thought, that as soon as we came up with problems, we'd be an accepted and integral enough part of the community to be heard, as is the case in other Pacifican regions. Instead it reads now, as if we need to fight for the simplest acknowledgement of our wishes towards the government.

If needed, we of course will try to get involved more in the politics now and fight for every single, tiny thing that we think needs to change, but is that really the standard, this community should have? Shouldn't the standard be, that the "sub-communities" communicate with each other and find solutions to problems not based on how many years you have put already in the self-assumed "most important" part of the community?
What we can offer you is what Maverick mostly laid out. We can offer you, that we only want small changes that give our sub-community more visibility again. We can offer you, that if a MoC, who is actually interested in our concerns too, will receive support for projects tied to roleplay or for advertising cultural events and publications in TSP, at least from the roleplay moderators over on the new forum and on the TSPRP-Discord. We can offer you, we take our role as potential voters on gameside more seriously and that we ask players to become legislators and vote in important elections etc.
Therefore we want to be heard and especially respected though. Because it doesn't read right now, as if any of those two things is being done at the moment.
