I do not recognise the motion, owing to the fact that the proposal in its consolidated form has not been properly debated for at least five days, per the terms of the convening resolution.

I strongly urge you to reconsider your approach and remember that the Great Council is a venue for collaborative debate, not unilateral lawmaking.

Good interpretation but a very wrong address.

Re-read what was said. You're defending a concept which makes sense RL but doesn't in a game.

It hasn't nor will it be properly debated. Regardless, freezing the motion for 5 days, re-motioning upon time completion.

I don’t understand what exactly is your goal here, other than burning goodwill.

Honorable Chair, I would like to raise a point of order pursuant to Article 3© of the Great Council Convening Resolution that A bee/Bistrizka is consistently violating decorum by engaging in combative and disrespectful discourse with other members of the GC, mocking the processes of the GC itself, and making proposals as if they are the sole legislative agent of the GC with the power to unilaterally make laws.

At some point, their participation in the GC violates decorum, and there's a pattern of behavior and engagement that is unlikely to change. The GC is not better off for their participation, which is generally hostile with little reason to be and no productive end point.

I recognise the point of order and note that participant 'A bee' is conducting themselves in a non-collaborative manner. In the interest of erring on the side of leniency I will not at this time take punitive action, but I will formally admonish @A bee and advise them that further instances of behaviour that violates decorum may be met with punitive action, up to and including expulsion from the Great Council.

This actually stuck with me during the day and convinced me to cancel the motion completely when I was back online because - although I disbelieve in the honesty of displayed rhetoric, I do have tendencies towards self-sabotage... Furthermore, my approach is very hypocritical when compared to certain personal principles, leading to a sense of guilt.

Now the punitive measurement being mentioned; digression, HS should've noticed that there's a reason that approach wasn't immediately utilized; partially diminishes what was accomplished.

So to break this dilemma: I do cancel my motion completely on this proposal but the tolerant and restraint approach I've had towards other GC threads should now be expected to be more blunt.
