Welcome Chairman Stujenske
#1

Citizens; Comrades,

These have been trying times for our People's Republic. In recent months we have survived a war that took from us several members of our community, seen a beloved Chairman step down at the height of his powers, and endured a never ending stream of vitriol from those who would condemn us and see us fail.

When searching from our new leader, we cannot be blamed for turning to the glorious past. Under Chairman Milograd, our region witnessed unprecedented growth; we truly cast off the chains of oppression and rose as a power in our own might. Many sought the return of this most venerable comrade in the hopes of reliving those days. But the time does not turn back.

Milograd is not here. Before his recent selection in a referendum on the next Chairman, some predicted activity troubles, and now they have been proved right. For two weeks Milograd has been out of all contact with the region and its leadership, having given no notice of his absence. Though some inactivity at times can be permitted, a region whose very identity revolves around a central figure to rally the people cannot stand if that figure is nowhere to be found.

Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce that Milograd will not be rising to the delegate seat in Lazarus. This follows consultation with both the State Council and a number of former Chairmen of the People’s Republic, none of whom have given objection to the course of action.

As Vice-Chairman, I am announcing the invocation of a Constitutional article that removes the sitting Chairman and installs the most senior officially endorsee into that office unless they should express objections. With that, the new Chairman of the People’s Republic is Comrade Stujenske.

Stujenske has served our region for most of his career, and his loyalties lie nowhere but Lazarus. One of the remaining officials who can recall the days when the Emerald banner flew, his experience in Lazarus is matched by few. I am confident that he will fill the position effectively, and that Lazarus will rise to new heights under his leadership.

Onward in the Glorious March to Harmony!

Feux,
Vice-Chairman of the People’s Republic
Ambassador of the Republic of Lazarus
General of the Lazarene Liberation Army
Former Chairman of the PRL
